TrailNet relies on the efforts of dedicated volunteers to help achieve its mission of furthering the development of trails in Alberta: TrailNet’s Board of Directors, whose members guide and support the Society; members of Alberta’s provincial trail user associations; local and regional trail associations and clubs; and grassroots volunteers who petition and plan for local trails, raise funds, recruit volunteers, consult with adjacent landowners and other stakeholders, and develop, manage and maintain trails. This work is supported by TrailNet staff and contractors who share their passion for trails, and by funders that provide the needed resources to carry on this work.
